Washington Avenue Coalition / Memorial Park is good for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamor, however some parts can be quite loud, especially closer to the railway line, US Highway 90 or I-10. There are over 50 green spaces close by for residents to explore, such as Sabine-to-Bagby Promenade and Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens, making them very easy to get to from the majority of locations within the neighborhood.
